Ben - Memories
Home - Info+

Our pet dog for almost fifteen years Ben was quietly put to sleep after being diagnosed with inoperable cancer by the vet, Nick Carter, at Camelford in Cornwall. Both Christine and I were there to give Ben a hug as he went to sleep in our arms - very sad but dignified! Ben, a cross between a Springer Border Terrier and a Cocker Spaniel, came into our lives at ten weeks old from the Isle of Wight. He was a very sweet natured, full of fun, dog who on the odd occasion had a stubborn streak when he did not want to do something.

He travelled with us on our sailing adventures in the Med, throughout France and our round trip through the Baltic, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Holland and also came with us on our numerous sailing and motorhome trips round the UK.
